AIR POLLUTION. A new CNRS study reveals that in the capital, PM2.5 fine particle pollution reaches three times the annual levels recommended by the World Health Organization. It is also higher in the north-east of Paris. In order to find concrete solutions to return to more acceptable air quality, a project in real conditions at a school in the 9th arrondissement is testing a system for physically capturing these pollutants.
