You have to know your enemy to fight him better. The European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) and Enedis have launched the experimentation of Pollutrack, a device for measuring fine particle pollution dynamically and in real time. A system which does not compete, but rather enriches the mass of data collected by Atmo Hauts-de-France.
In fact, Pollutrack has existed since 2015. It is a system developed by the start-up PlanetWatch24 on the occasion of COP 21 and which has already been tested in Paris. The idea is to measure pollution on a street scale and dynamically using microsensors installed on vehicles.
