The mayor of Paris is due to present, on Tuesday September 17, a new tool allowing Parisians to know more precisely and more simply the quality of the air they breathe on a daily basis.
It is presented in the form of a map accessible via the City of Paris website (Paris.fr). Le Monde was able to test it before it went online. The first two maps are made from data collected by Airparif, the organization responsible for monitoring air quality in Ile-de-France. They allow you to know the levels of different regulated pollutants: fine particles PM 10 (diameter less than 10 micrometers, µm) and PM 2.5 (less than 2.5 µm), nitrogen dioxide (NO2 ) and ozone (O3).
